On June 16th, 2001, five Negro League baseball players came to The HistoryMakers office in Chicago, Illinois for a group interview. Negro League friend and supporter, Gary Crawford interviewed Alvin Spearman, Henry “Hank” Presswood, Johnny Washington, Bobby “The Human Vacuum Cleaner” Robinson, and Ted “Double Duty” Radcliffe. These legendary figures shared stories about the teams they played for, their fellow players, and the hardships they faced.
