Alexander Paterson

Alexander Paterson joined The HistoryMakers in 2023. As the Special Assistant to the President, he assists virtually all aspects of the organization. A native of Harlem, New York, Mr. Paterson studied Film & Media Arts at The University of Tampa and began his career as a production assistant with Movement Strategy and Digital Media Rights. A video editor, he has held various consulting roles in the creative agency arena. Outside of production, Paterson possesses a strong background in administration and hospitality. He served as an executive assistant for the Touro College of Pharmacy and was once part of a team that retained 2 Michelin Stars at The Modern and a Forbes 5 Diamond Award at The Umstead. Prior to joining The HistoryMakers, Paterson was a Web & Content Manager for The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce.
